Ten.Two Thousand, Four Hundred & Ninety-Three

  1. 2:45 a.m.

  2. I stand on my tiptoes to watch them snake through the line. That’s it. They’re on their way now.

  3. I could go back to sleep, or I could just go on about the day as normal. I change my clothes and put on my hiking shoes and head out.

  4. Fox. Turkey. Three crows.

  5. Non-time.

  7. I still have a hard time picturing him as a high schooler. He’s a high schooler now.

  8. Maybe I’ll come back today.
