It is quiet up here on the hill. So quiet. I could sit here forever.

What is it about churches. I avoid them and yet admire their beauty. This one, with its Spanish architecture, and the golden glow of the afternoon sun coming through its small windows.

The reminder to dream bigger.

It’s almost midnight his time. I forget about the time change. Listening to him calms my nerves. After we hang up, I just put the numbers in the boxes and let it go.
